Durga Bhavani Mart ("we", "us", or "our"), operating at https://myteknoland.com, is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. Our sole purpose for collecting personal data is to identify the customer and deliver grocery products accurately to their location.
Note: We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
We process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Consent — you provide explicit consent when registering and placing orders. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Contract performance — processing is necessary to fulfil your grocery delivery orders.
Legitimate interest — fraud prevention and service security.
Legal obligation — compliance with Indian law where applicable.
Your mobile phone number is used as your primary login credential. When you register or log in, we send a One-Time Password (OTP) to your number via our OTP service provider (Firebase Authentication by Google / MSG91). Your phone number is shared with this provider solely for OTP delivery and is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Note: We do not use your phone number for promotional SMS without your explicit consent. OTP logs are retained for 24 hours only.
Providing your email address is optional. If you choose to save it, it is used solely for:
Order confirmation emails after each successful order.
Account recovery to help you regain access if you lose phone access.
Note: Your email is never shared with third parties or used for unsolicited marketing.
You may optionally upload a profile photo. This photo is used only to help our delivery partners visually confirm they are handing the order to the right customer.
Note: Profile photos are stored on servers located in India, encrypted using AES-256, and are never made publicly visible outside the delivery process.
When you place an order or at the time of delivery, we request access to your device's GPS location. This Application uses Google Maps SDK (provided by Google LLC) for navigation and delivery routing. Your live location data is shared with Google Maps SDK solely for this purpose and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Pinpoint your exact delivery location so our delivery partner can reach you accurately.
Calculate delivery route and estimated time for your order.
Confirm successful delivery at your location.
Note: We only access your live location when you actively place an order or when a delivery is in progress. We do NOT track your location in the background at any other time. GPS location is retained only for the duration of the active delivery session and is not stored after delivery is complete.
You may choose to save one or more delivery addresses to your profile for convenience. You can delete saved addresses at any time from your profile settings.
Note: Saved addresses are stored on secure servers in India and are deleted within 30 days of account closure.

Each of these providers is contractually bound to process your data only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Verify your identity through OTP-based phone login.
Process and fulfil your grocery orders accurately and on time.
Identify the correct customer for each delivery.
Navigate to your delivery address using your live or saved address.
Send order confirmations to your email address (if provided).
Resolve delivery issues by contacting you via phone if needed.
Our delivery personnel are provided with your name, phone number, and delivery address solely to complete your order delivery. They are not permitted to use this information for any other purpose.
We use trusted third-party technology providers (listed in Section 4) to operate our App. These providers are contractually bound to keep your data confidential and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or a valid order from a competent court or government authority in India.
OTP logs: 24 hours from generation
GPS / live location: Session only (deleted after delivery)
Order history: 2 years from order date
Email address: Until account deletion
Phone number: Until account deletion
Profile photo: Until deleted by user or account closure
Saved addresses: Until deleted by user or account closure
Account data: Deleted within 30 days of account closure
Data may be retained longer where required by Indian law (e.g. tax records under GST Act).
Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS for all App communications).
AES-256 encryption for data stored at rest.
Secure server storage with access controls limited to authorised personnel only.
OTP-based authentication to prevent unauthorised account access.
Regular security monitoring and vulnerability assessments.
Right to access — request a summary of your personal data we hold and how it is used.
Right to correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Right to grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer.
Right to nominate — nominate another person to exercise your rights.
Right to withdraw consent — you may withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer. We will respond within 30 days.
Our App is not intended for individuals under 16. If a child provides data, contact us and we will delete it within 72 hours.
